Soulseek NS software stores the login details into following Registry location |
|
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Soulseek2\config
|
|
Both username & password are stored into the registry value named 'login' under above key.
Soulseek Qt stores login credentials in the profile location mentioned below,

This folder contains multiple files with a name 'soulseek-client.dat.****' (*** represents random numbers). Each of these file contains the username & password details stored in proprietary format. |

It comes with simple Instaler that helps you to install it locally
on your system for regular usage. It has intuitive setup wizard which guides you through series of steps
in completion of installation. |

Soulseek Password Recovery is easy to use with its simple GUI interface.
Here are the brief usage details |
- Launch SoulseekPasswordRecovery.exe after completion of
installation.
- Select Soulseek NS or Soulseek Qt based on what login password you want to recover.
- On start, it automatically tries to find & displays profile path for Soulseek QT if present
- Next click on 'Start
Recovery' button and all the stored login password will be recovered & displayed as shown in screenshot 1
below.
- Finally you can save all recovered password list to HTML/XML/TEXT/CSV file by clicking on 'Report' button and then select the type
of file from the drop down box of 'Save File Dialog'.

your stored passwords. It cannot recover the passwords for other users
unless you have right credentials.
